School Advisory Council
In the Archdiocese of Portland, all school councils are advisory in nature. A school advisory council participates in decision-making by formulating and recommending, but never enacting policy.
The purpose of the School Advisory Council is to develop and define policies which govern the operations of St. Ignatius School. The Council keeps current a five year plan, helps draft the operational budget, oversees tuition assistance, and generally is advisory to the principal.
